Bike New York

A 50-hour, four-week training program. Mechanics in training learn to repair regular bikes and Citi Bike’s electric and traditional bicycle fleets. Upon completing the program, all graduates are guaranteed a job interview with Motivate. After a successful interview, candidates are offered bike mechanic positions to maintain the Citi-Bike fleets across New York City. Motivate pays $25.25 per hour and offers an opportunity to join the union after 90 days.
