• The Bridge Fund: only works by referrals by HCA. To qualify, you must have a low income, be able to pay for rent in the future, be in eviction proceedings, and have a moderate load of unpaid rent (or have approval from HRA to pay the arrears).

— Westchester residents may call (914) 949-8146 (no referral needed)
• Use the HCA hotline (open 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday) to find rental assistance you are eligible for and:
— Attend Zoom workshops on tenants' rights, see the website for details
— Receive guidance on suing the landlord, getting clarification on lease terms, getting more time to move or pay rent
Open Monday to Thursday 9 AM to 5 PM
They have information tables at every housing court in NYC, except for Staten Island. If you wish to walk in, do so by 4:30 PM.
