• Call (212) 769-6300 to schedule an appointment. No walk-ins. The first step is to schedule a low-vision exam to determine if you are legally blind and if you need glasses/magnifiers. Then, the organization would apply for services for you and training if you are interested through the NY Commission for the Blind
