• It is a private hospital accepting major types of insurance, but large copays might occur if you are not on Medicaid or are uninsured. A rape kit must be provided for free upon request. Once at the hospital, if you are receiving emergency treatment for a recent sexual assault or domestic violence, you may request staff to call an advocate to come to support you any day, any time. If you are a low-income resident of NYC you might be able to reduce the copays after the visit.
