The Child Advocacy Center Team consists of:
• Child Protective Specialists from the Administration for Children’s Services
• Detectives from the New York City Police Department
• Assistant District Attorneys from the borough District Attorneys’ offices
• Corporation Counsel from the NYC Law Department
• Pediatricians from premier local hospitals
• Clinical Forensic Specialists from Safe Horizon

• Open Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM

• CACs are not walk-in facilities. Each case of child abuse must be reported to the New York State Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment or to the police for it to be referred to a Child Advocacy Center. If you suspect child abuse, please report any incident to (800) 342-3720 or contact your local police precinct. The age requirement is 3+.
