Depending on availability, supplies such as diapers, wipes, baby food, formula liquid and powder, clothing, strollers, and highchairs. Condoms and lube are available. Referrals for HIV testing are available or on-site testing by walking in. Syringe exchange is provided to all clients. At door syringe exchange is available to non-clients under 30, no ID required.

A resting room that is available to clients during the day. Two people per session. First come, first served. The light has to be on. Staff may look in the glass window in the door. No time restrictions or sign-up, only designated for sleeping. Napping is also permitted in the common area of comfortable couches, but music and TV are on, and people are talking.

A therapist is on-site available via a walk-in for Uptown clients and for Telehealth for Downtown clients (since DT DIC is closed, you may receive mental health here), but you must make an appointment with a psychiatrist.

Immediate lockers are available to clients present in the space. They have to be vacated when you leave. The long-term lockers reserved for active clients for as long as they receive services are available to houseless, sheltered, or unsheltered youth. The sign-up for that is available only during weekdays; the subsequent access is open any day. If you do not call/visit the space for more than three months, your property will be discarded, but it will be saved if necessary paperwork is found.

Feel free to walk in if you are a Streetwork client every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Call to ensure they are there. Schedule changes and the flyers in the space can tell you when the next legal clinic is.

Families are referred to the DHS PATH Intake Center. The day center serves people 16-24 years old and can be accessed through the intake process.

Individuals under 18 do not have to have a guardian present and can access intake on weekends between 10:15 AM - 2 PM in addition to the hours below. The Uptown Drop-in is bigger than the Lower-East-Side Drop-in. This drop-in is not pet-friendly, but the Downtown one is. If you live closer to Downtown, consider going there for an intake because, after enrollment, you cannot switch Drop-ins. Up to 5 people per day are accepted (minors have no limits on how many people have arrived for intake)

A hotline for homeless youth that connects young people under age 25 to the Streetwork Project. The vans of outreach program can come to you if you are in the catchment area and provide you with hygiene kits and services.

You may use any name, please memorize it in order to obtain your mail/packages. If you do not pick up your mail within 30 days, it will be returned to sender. If you reside in a shelter, specifically associated with Safe Horizon, you may obtain a letter stating your income and services you receive here to prove your situation when applying for SNAP and other benefits.
